International Communications Program Lead

Today we all are working for the victory of Ukraine and to grow support for Ukraine worldwide.

Civil Society Organization ‘Resilient Ukraine’ was formed by the team coming out of One Philosophy Group of Companies, which  has always initiated social impact initiatives targeting key societal and cultural issues, such as Voїny, Skovoroda.Today, Respect, research of resilience of Ukrainian business and many others. As a CSO we are actively working in countries of the Global South, promoting the voice of Ukraine, and need new committed professionals who will join our efforts to support Ukraine. The Project would coordinate proactive, targeted, integrated communication and advocacy efforts of Ukrainian state institutions along with subject-matter experts, civil society support foundations, diaspora organizations, and economic grassroots initiatives, promoting democratic values of freedom, human rights support, promoting Ukraine’s history, culture and values , and strengthening anti-totalitarian movements and changes.

Position: International Communications Director/Lead

Engagement: full-time

Key responsibilities:

    • Develop strategies and shape effective projects to advance Ukraine’s voice in the Global South (Africa, Latin America, India, etc), prepare grant applications to secure funding

    • Develop strategies for communication and advocacy campaigns (including analytics, media planning, messaging, creative concepts, etc.) in line with Ukraine’s communication agenda 

    • Manage and motivate the project team to find creative ways to achieve project objectives 

    • Develop and drive implementation of a project plan for regular communication activities, adapt the plan based on changing information priorities, drive improvement based on results in line with project KPIs

    • Orchestrate content creation for the website and social media, proofread content

    • Oversee communication channels of the project to ensure maximum effectiveness

    • Create effective collaborations and coordinate efforts with project partners to create a united information front in support of Ukraine

    • Oversee project reporting vs. agreed KPIs and develop improvement plans to further Ukraine’s communication objectives in the region.

    Requirements:

    • Experience  leading projects in international communications, cultural diplomacy, international relations
      Experience managing projects supported by international donor organizations would be an advantage

    • Team leadership skills

    • High level of responsibility, ownership and initiative

    • Flexibility and agility to quickly adapt strategies to changing circumstances

    • Fluent English and Ukrainian, Spanish will be an advantage

    • Team player who wants to support Ukraine’s victory
